How it works...

Getting coverage with Cover Direct is simple and straightforward. We will help you choose a benefit amount and a premium you can afford, so that you can secure a Family Life Insurance policy that meets your needs. Our cover offers both level premium and age-based policies - for level policies, you can select a term between 10 and 30 years (depending on your age) for your protection to be in place. During this term, your benefit amount and premium will remain fixed. If you die during this term, your loved ones will receive a cash amount.

With an age-based policy, your benefit amount could increase by 3% each year, and your premiums are recalculated annually to reflect your age and any applicable benefit amount increases (as described in more detail in the policy terms and conditions). These changes can help your cover keep up with inflation. With this policy type, your loved ones will get a cash lump sum when you die5 as long as you keep up with your monthly payments.

Why choose Cover Direct?

  • Easy to apply – You can get coverage with a quick and easy process5
  • No medicals or blood tests for approval – We only ask just a few health and lifestyle questions
  • Get up to $1.5 million of coverage depending on your age and personal circumstances

Optional coverage

Life is full of surprises and unfortunately, not all of them are good. Preparing for every possibility could help you keep family life on track if the worst were to happen. If you would like greater peace of mind, we can discuss some of the optional extras with you.

Children's coverage5

This protection could help you cover things like medical expenses if your child were to suffer from a specified serious injury or illness. It also covers your child in the event of accidental death.

Critical Illness Insurance

This protection will provide a lump sum payment should you suffer from a specified serious illness4. You can include an additional coverage amount of $50,000 in your Cover Direct Family Life Insurance policy. If you make a claim and it’s accepted, the cash amount you receive will be deducted from your total benefit amount.
